What we collect
Directory listings hold business data: name, category, address, LGA, opening hours, phone, WhatsApp and photos. Accounts hold your name, phone number and optionally an email; logs record your IP address and user-agent. Verification records hold GPS coordinates, timestamped photographs and one of the owner's identity document.
Why we collect it
Business data is published so customers can find and contact the business. Account data identifies you and delivers login codes. Verification data exists to substantiate the Location-Confirmed badge and is reviewed by HQ operations before a badge is granted.
Consent
Owner identity documents are captured only with the owner's consent at the time of the field visit. Submitting a listing constitutes consent to publish that business data and to be contacted about the listing.
How long we keep it
Closing an account deletes the customer record outright, though the deletion request retains your name, phone and email. Verification submissions are never pruned: GPS coordinates, timestamped photographs and the owner's identity document outlive the twelve-month badge. Action logs holding IP addresses are pruned after thirty days.
Who we share it with
Listing detail pages load map code and tiles from unpkg and OpenStreetMap, which see the viewer's IP address and map position. Google or Facebook sign-in routes through them; email leaves the site's own mail server but passes through each recipient's provider. No payment gateway is connected.
Your rights
You can request a full export of the data DeyPage holds about you, correct your profile at any time, and deactivate your account. Deactivation blocks login immediately; data is then held under the retention rules above rather than erased on the spot.
How we protect it
Traffic is forced to HTTPS, session cookies are secure and http-only, and passwords are bcrypt hashes. Five staff roles gate which admin screens each person can open, not which records. Only the customer tax identification field is encrypted; GPS coordinates, photographs and identity documents are not.
International transfers
The server runs in Lauterbourg, France. The database, uploaded media, verification photographs and the mail server all sit on that same machine, so Nigerian user data is held in the European Union. The map and sign-in providers above are based in Europe and the United States.
